Under stormy skies this month, the Perth International Arts Festival presented ‘Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak’ to our beautiful city.   This was a light and sound wonderland that showcased our indigenous Australians sacred connection to the land. Visitors were inspired to adopt an animal or plant totem to protect and preserve this place we are blessed to live in. 

We felt inspired by the works on show and it has encouraged us to speak up for our beautiful natural environment.
