Simple Changes To Make An Impact
Continuing on with our theme this month, we have seen a large increase in refurbishments of existing facilities as a result of the new standards (particularly standard 5). There are many aspects to take into consideration and the right changes can make a remarkable difference to the lives of residents, family and staff.
We recently had the pleasure of working with Villa Maria Catholic Homes to update their existing Cluny House within their Clayton facility. de Fiddes Design were engaged for the full project to make selections for finishes and loose furniture and accessories in a mid-century modern style to evoke memory and an altogether more enabling environment.
A new resident of the facility stated 'this feels like home' when recently asked what she thought of the new refurbishments to the space.
A heartwarming response which makes it all worth while!
