FREE e-learning course! Centre for Universal Design Australia

With the built environment in mind this month we were excited to see the Centre for Universal Design Australia has launched their new, FREE e-learning course on Universal Design in Housing:  Home Coming? Framing Housing Policy for the Future!

Highlighting both issues and innovative solutions, we feel this valuable course and subsequent resources are worth a look over. The course is designed to assist policy makers, housing professionals, urban planners, home designers and owners. It aims to explore the issues and impact of applying universal design features in all new and extensively renovated homes. It gives a statistical context, discusses the economics of households, sustainability and housing affordability.

It takes about an hour to complete with the aim of making housing policy easier to navigate.
