Staying Connected to our Veterans
2020 ANZAC day will be like no other Perth and Australia has ever seen.
Whilst we can not be physically gathering together this year, it is important to stand together and find new ways to commemorate our veterans and remember those who served and still serve.
This ANZAC day RSL WA is encouraging the dawn service to continue in a slightly different way - at the end of your driveway, balcony or gate, whilst listening to ABC local Radio.
By making it easier for everyone to join in and remember is a silver lining to being forced apart. It is expected that in this way the event will attract far more people than previous years.
RSL WA is also inviting people to hang wreaths in their windows or on the doors. We found these fun print out colour-in wreaths just so cute! Great for an activity to do with the kids or a mindfulness exercise for yourself.
Print them out and enjoy. For more information see the facebook event here.
Another way to stay connected to our Veterans in to write a card. Aussie start up Cardly has created a way to directly honor our ANZAC's, with all profits going to Legacy.
Keep up the support and love for our most vulnerable citizens.
