An intimate 12 bed home attached to a larger facility. A refurbishment of all aspects of the space was required by Villa Maria Catholic Homes to reflect a more homely undated aesthetic. de Fiddes were engaged for the full project to make selections for finishes and loose furniture and accessories in a mid-century modern style to evoke memory and an altogether more enabling environment designed to support the organisation’s Montessori approach to dementia care. This project was completed in mid April 2019.
