Wayfinding with larger than life typography!

Generally, our experience with typography is usually on a small scale. The print you are reading now for example, is only a few millimetres high. But across our built environment, type can stand tall, reach enormous heights and lead us to our final destination! Keep reading while we help educate you on Wayfinding Design!

Advances in building methodologies and technologies have played a vital role in the realisation of typography and consequently wayfinding. Augmented bricklaying and parametric design are some of the new technologies pushing boundaries with the modular brick manipulated to create signage, super graphics, sculpture or branding.

Here at the de Fiddes office we are fascinated with larger than life typography which is usually unexpected, slows us down and invites us to engage with buildings differently.
